Kung Fu In Cosplay.?? Sifu Leroy Kwok participated in Singapore's Cosfest Xii.
Most people relate martial arts to fighting, but actually martial arts is also a form of Artistic Body Expression. If a cosplayer's posture is off, it can make his or her pose seem unnatural & awkward. An imposing posture can make a cosplayer look more intimidating. A cosplayer holding a weapon without proper understanding of the weapon's application and technique will make the photo-composition look weird as there is no basis in reality and looks awkward.
Sifu Leroy Kwok had previously conducted private lessons for cosplayers to learn basic forms and combat system of weapons such as swords, sabers, axes and spears. These lesson had greatly enhanced the cosplayers' performance and helped them receive huge amount of compliments from fellow cosplay enthusiasts.
